Very good colour work and I like the contrast. I especially love how you've carried across the themem of turning to stone within this granite slab - the image and canvas are married beautifully in concept.

This looks nothing like the referance picture and that's a compliment. There is such a hardness in this piece. There's a sense it could only be made in stone. Me, I'm not much for masculine images but I'm not going to go into that here. You should be proud of this. The exprsession on the face ... The hand. It's so good.
